I suppose I should say a bit about myself.

I grew up in the small town of Ripley, MS and lived there until I moved to Starkville and began college at Mississippi State University. I majored in Physics for a few years, then changed to English because I realized I enjoyed reading and writing much more than doing page long Calculus problems.  I met my wonderful husband at MSU and we have two terrific Boston Terriers (Abbi and Walker) that we adopted from the Alabama Boston Terrier Rescue.

I love reading, hence the book blog.  If you have a book that you think I need to read, contact me and tell me about it.  I’m always game for something new to read.

I enjoy cooking and changing up recipes, sometimes to ill effect.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Harry Potter, death metal music, and Diet Dr. Pepper.

This is the first website I’ve ever had and I’m excited about learning RapidWeaver from my brilliant and patient teacher, my husband.
